toil review

AZ I LOVE U!! she actually gave me 1 of the biggest compliments of my life after rinsing me during tutorials, lol. she said i have a natural nack 4 turning flats into garment and that i shud look into it as a job, its summat id love doing and wud love to do as a job and the review went fantastic just gotta make a few slight adjustments and its all grand :D

well following the careers advice presentation we had last week i thought shit if i want a job in design i may have to do a hell of a lot but wat cud i do????? i didnt no but then i had a massive brain wave our buying and merchandising tutor has her own business doesnt she......... and she said she doesnt have any designers ............. so i put 2 an2 together and asked if i cud design for her to see if she liked my work which she cud show to her design company and perhaps some of my designs might make it into the range which would be awesome talk about making a name for your self which im so excited to do an to get into the time plan of things and see how they work out hey you could be looking at the future head of design of kyte kids lmao ... i wish

today we also had out tutorails which were so helpful Az helped me sort my colours issues and give me ideas to work on and play with which im gonna love, she thinks im barkin 4 actually forkin out for this bloody neoprene (it's tre expensive :(:( ) but its wat my idea on this topic is all based round so i feel i need to but its gonna be so fun 2 play with i mean has it been done??? i think not i like beint the first to do things and this 1 i feel is gonna work :D
also had tutorial with jo 2day bout the styling progress which i thought id basically finished, but well i just gotta modify it a tadd which is easy enuff and do a few follow up sheets but shes loving the work im cummin up with and the brand logo name the style and its workin its all gel'in together and looks great

made i laff that my project ive now made and i quote VERY COMMERCIAL - her words not mine lol which i think is great seening i was having alot of trouble doing that but appaz ive just done it naturally and made it work and it looks good woop woop im just on a high :D

toil and error

well the first toil was semi sucessful well all goos apart from the hoona and when i attaches the sleeves :S but the after a discussion with pat and jane we decided it looked better with short sleeves but i didnt wanna loose the cuff detailing i loved so we decided to instead of scrap it but add a long sleeved jersey t under which i thinks gonna be sick m8.we checked the pattern and adapted the 1st toil to make chnages 4 toil number 2 and that was alot more sucessful mainly due to the changes and change in fabric except i had a few lets call them pokey bits, but a fully working hood this tym lol. so me and jane addapted it again and i convinced her it still needs to be taken in and made more snug or budy huggin if u will so weve addapted the pattern again and gotta make the changes on the toil and hope its ready 4 thurs 4 the big review which i also gotta knocek up a t shirt 4 but hey that wont even take an hour lol ohh im excited t looks great i cant wait woop woop

bleedin-HOOD

k k k k k so the jacket pattern was completly rediculose and a rediculose pattern makes for rediculose sewing, but 1 soldgered on and prevailed and it works!!!! well kinda hood complete fail it looks like a giagantic collar but floopy. :( but all else worked out brilliantly gonna need to make a few tiny ajdjustments to the pattern to add to the body huggingness, but only like a cm or 2 here and ther and a undaer-arm dart, but hood needs to be completely changed but hey hey this is y we make toils loves it :D:D

jersey jersey jersey the word just reminds me of the film cyote ugly hahaha if u seen it u'll understand wat im on bout, but ne way back to the land of fabrics and fashion ohh my views on jersey i like it was wearing the t i made all day was a good fit supprisingly but i found it really easy to work with and well the kansai machines arnt that bad definaltly temprimental but they good at heart i really enjoyed it and found the workshops really helpful even if they were a bit quick -me as jersey man :D-

im tre tre tre excited i am now modeling for a girl in costume which shall be fun had 2 have my measuring session the other day was fun espically the GIRTH lmao but yeah and woo hopefully as im helping her she may be able to help me in the near future espically as costume have access to far more interesting things than us ohh im giddy we shall see :D

to toil or not to toil.........?

hmmmmmm well i may have mad a few silly mistakes with my seam allowance :S:S Caroline absolute darlin helped me make it work and it looks fantastic but its only a toil we can correct it now toils are meant for you to find your mistakes and ohh boy ive found a few let me tell ya!! but i shall ammend my pattern and toil again i mean ive got 2 weeks plenty o tym. plus tho some parts went a tadd wrong my jeans still look pretty funky i belive i shall nab them after they finished being marked but will have to be taken up bloody darn tall models grrr
